Best Photo Locations in Pasadena
Hi, everyone! I’m a photographer who lives in Pasadena, California.
When I have outdoor photo sessions, my clients often ask me about the best photo spots in Pasadena. So, today, I would like to introduce some of the most beautiful locations in Pasadena.
1.Pasadena City Hall
The beautiful Pasadena City Hall is my favorite photo spot in Pasadena. The building features traditional Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial Revival Style architectures. When I first visited Pasadena, I fell in love with this building immediately.
This location suits any occasion, so you can do engagement photos, family sessions, Japanese traditional kimono sessions, and more!
If the weather is not perfect, just head inside. There are tall, open hallways, beautiful winding stairs and an exquisite courtyard overlook -- perfect backdrops for a variety of photos.

2. Old Pasadena
Be sure to visit Pasadena Old Town. The historic streets, alleyways, and rustic bricks are wonderfully photogenic. Old Town is particularly great for out-of-town visitors. There are plenty of shopping and eating opportunities all within walking distance from the public parking lots, from retail chains to independent boutiques and cafes. During the Halloween and Christmas seasons the streets and allies are decorated, creating a naturally festive feel for your photo session.
Address: 41 Hugus Alley, Pasadena, CA 91103
3. California Institute of Technology
California Institute of Technology is a great place for photos. The campus offers a variety of nature features and beautiful historical buildings. Everywhere I turn the camera there is something beautiful to capture. I highly recommend “Caltech” for people who have smaller children. It is a peaceful and safe place so your kids can play around freely.
